Pop Up Pantry

IF YOU ARE IN NEED OF GROCERIES VIA THE POP-UP PANTRY BUS CLICK HERE.

Our Pop-Up Pantry is a decommissioned PSTA bus transformed into a Mobile Grocery Store we call “The Pop-Up Pantry.” It pops up in high need areas that are considered food desserts, low-income areas, or areas of need. It operates every second and fourth Thursday of the month providing fresh groceries at no cost. There are no eligibility requirements making it as easy as possible to get access to fresh food.

Our food is sourced from St.Pete Free Clinic, Feed St.Pete, Publix, and the public’s donations. This effort is not possible without our incredible community of partners, donors, volunteers, staff, and location hosts.

Our Pop-Up Pantry has three focus areas: Direct Access, Food Affordability, & Community Awareness. To learn more about our program download the packet below.

We owe a big thank you to our presenting corporate sponsor Molina Cares for making this launch possible. The MolinaCares Accord is a commitment to building stronger communities through improving people’s health and lives. MolinaCares channels substantial investments into solving the many gaps that exist in the access to, and delivery of, health care today.

Additionally to PSTA and the PSTA Leadership Class of 2021 for donating the bus to us and partnering with us to make the project possible.
