Your donation directly impacts the lives of individuals and families facing poverty, homelessness, and inequities in Pinellas County. When you give to Reach St. Pete, you’re not just providing free groceries, educational assistance, financial assistance, and crucial wrap around services; you’re offering light in a dark place, dignity where people feel less than, and the chance for a better future.

Your generosity helps us keep our mobile grocery bus on the road, delivering nutritious food to those who need it most. It supports our literacy programs, helping children get access to after school education, transportation, food, and education. And it fuels our comprehensive support through our wrap around services.

Giving FAQs

  • Yes, Reach St. Pete is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. All donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law. After your donation, you will receive a receipt for your records.

  • Absolutely! You can choose to make a one-time donation or set up a recurring gift on a monthly, quarterly, or annual basis through our online donation form.

  • To update or cancel your recurring donation click on the email you received after donating. Once you click on the email, there should be a prompt in it that says you can edit your details.

  • Yes, you can dedicate your donation in honor or memory of a loved one. Simply indicate this on the donation form by checking the box and entering the information.

  • You will receive an email receipt immediately after making your donation. If you need a physical receipt or have any issues, please contact us at info@reachstpete.org or 727-275-8655.

  • Absolutely! Here are some details as to why.

    Encryption and Data Security: Pledge employs encryption and other security protocols to protect the personal and financial information of donors. This includes using SSL (Secure Socket Layer) technology, which ensures that all data transmitted between the user's browser and Pledge's servers is encrypted and secure.

    Compliance with Industry Standards: Pledge complies with industry standards for payment processing, which includes adhering to the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI DSS). This ensures that all credit card transactions are processed securely.

    Privacy Policy: Pledge has a comprehensive privacy policy in place, which outlines how they collect, use, and protect personal information. They do not sell or share personal information with third parties without consent, except as required to process transactions or comply with legal obligations.

  • Yes! You are welcome to mail checks to our temporary mailing address (6157 31st Ave N St.Petersburg FL 33710). Additionally you can set up a meeting with Alexia at Alexia@reachstpete.org for items such as assets, wire transfers, family funds, charitable trusts, and more.

  • Helping to provide highly requested items such as kid-friendly snacks, hygiene products, pantry staples, and additional varying in-kind donations is a GREAT help! We also encourage you to check out our Amazon wishlist with items you can ship straight to us! Outside of that volunteering with one of our programs, or simply helping to spread the word about what we do is a huge help!
